According to the CDC, the importance of protecting children and ensuring they are safe is because “Safe, stable, nurturing relationships and environments are essential to prevent early adversity, including child abuse and neglect, and to assure that all children reach their full potential.”
We wanted to honor the lives and achievements of Dr. Gerold L. Schiebler and Audrey Lincourt Schiebler, the founders of First Coast Healing Hands, Inc who led the way in child advocacy in Florida for many years. Both individuals have passed away but their efforts remain by having changed the world for so many children and families.
